Local Attractions
These are some of the many things to do within walking distance of our accommodation:
- Swim at the many beaches. Mollymook and Narrawallee beaches are patrolled by lifesavers during the warmer months.
- Surf at one of 7 beaches with right and left hand beach, river mouth, point and reef breaks.
- See the many dolphins that frequent this area in the wild on any of our beaches.
- See whales from the shoreline viewing areas or just from the beaches, during the northern whale migration season from June to August and the southern whale migration, this time with babies born in the warm northern waters, from September to November every year.
- Take learn to surf lessons with one of the local surfing instructors.
- Dive and snorkel for a fantastic underwater experience with a tour from the local dive company, or go it alone if you are game enough.
- Go kayaking or canoeing on one of the many lakes, lagoons & inlets in the area.
- Go sea kayaking with one of the local tour guides for a marine, deep water experience. See dolphins up close & personal.
- Visit the local art galleries and experience what the local artists see, through their eyes.
- Experience the thrills and challenges of the local skate park.
- Grab some binoculars and go bird watching in the coastal bushland or the wildflower reserve.
- Tee off at one of Ulladulla's two golf courses.
- Swim some laps at the Ulladulla leisure centre or sea pool.
- Walk along one of the nearby ten walking trails and learn about the native flora and fauna and the local aboriginal culture.
- Wander around the local markets held three out of every four weekends.
- Visit the oldest house in town and sample some of their many and varied teas of the world & browse through the many delights on offer.
- Watch the sunrise from the harbour headland or any of the beaches as they all face east. Take a fresh croissant, have breakfast.
- Catch a Fish - Take a free rod and reel from us and try your luck from the jetties and beaches.
- Have great fish and chips on the beach or by the harbour every day of the year.
- Buy some of the local produce, seafood and wines and bring them home, cook for yourself for your own home grown experience.
If you have a car, van or motorbike, this gives you access all the national parks, wineries, many more beaches, walks and tours, bays and coves, little beachside towns, horse riding, rivers to cruise, creeks to explore, climbing, wildlife parks, scenic coastal and inland drives, museums.
There just needs to be enough hours in the day and days and nights, in the week...
