Conveniently located on the main coastal highway, which is also the route for the interstate buses, between Sydney (3 hours) and Melbourne (10 hours), the backpackers guest house provides, clean, comfortable and cosy accommodation for all international and Australian tourists and travellers in a home environment rather than a hostel.
There is a large well equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room, lounge/TV room with log fire, sunroom, sundeck, separate female and male bathrooms, gas bbq, shady hammock garden and laundry facilities.
We supply to all our guests, free of charge, fresh bed linen, blankets and bath towels and limited off street parking. For outdoor enthusiasts, the free use of bicycles and helmets, body and surf boards, beach towels and fishing gear.
Please note - These items will not be available on your day of departure.
For those travelling by bus and tackling the great outdoors on foot, we are an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to everything. Beautiful beaches and world recognised surf breaks, the harbour, town centre, all shopping, entertainment and amenities and bush, coastal, wildflower and aboriginal cultural walks and trails. This makes our backpackers the perfect location from which to explore and enjoy all the local attractions.
For those with their own transport, the sky is the limit as we are only a short drive to the Murramarang, Meroo, Conjola and Morton National Parks with all the wildlife, native animals, birds, trees and flowers, walking and hiking trails and camping grounds that they provide. There are also mountains, wineries, lakes and lagoons, coastal and rural drives and many, many more beaches, coves and bays to find and explore.
